Travertine

Limestone is sedimentary and formed by shell, coral and organic fragments deposited on the perimeters of oceans, streams or waterways and built up over long periods of time and pressure. Grain or character of limestone invariably includes skeletal fragments of marine organisms.

In reality limestone formations include grains of sand, clay and other impurities resulting in material with more grain and a variety of other features. Some limestones are delicate and vulnerable and suitability for any given application should be checked with our showroom staff.

Limestone is available in a variety of finishes including, polished, honed, sandblasted, sandblasted & brushed, chiselled, bush hammered, and many different styles of “lined” finishes.
